Sound Leisure's Sound Surfer digital jukeboxes were pioneering back in 2001, when they could hold an amazing 3,000 tracks. But technology has moved on since then, and Sound's online MIM Unlimited jukebox, unveiled this year, has access to close to three million songs!
Despite this, eight years after they were first launched, there are still a large number of Sound Surfers still on site in the UK, bringing in good revenues. So Sound Leisure has created an update for these jukeboxes that will allow them to operate the latest software and increase their music content up to an impressive 10,000 tracks.
"We know that a lot of companies would try to get customers to buy new machines rather than updating existing models that are eight years old but many of our customers remain very loyal to their Sound Surfers," says Chris Black. "The Sound Leisure build quality means that - despite their age - these jukeboxes still have a lot of life left in them.
"Our new Sound Surfer update will give them a boost that will be reflected in cashbox and that is good news for everyone. In this current economic climate, we want to create solutions for our customers that will help them to maximize revenues without breaking the bank. We don't believe there are any other companies that offer updates for jukeboxes of this age."
