Preview 2010 (October 7-8, 2009) is promising to be one of the most exciting shows on the calendar this year. It will be the first opportunity for the industry to see a comprehensive range of new stakes and prize AWPs, following the initial summer operating season.

"A clearer picture should be emerging of which machines are really the ones doing the business now," says Preview organiser Ylva Howard. "The new stakes and prizes have allowed designers to be more creative with the machines and there will be some exciting new developments on show."

In addition, Preview is ideally placed for the amusement sector to show some of the games they are planning for the following year. As Justin Burke from Sega Amusements Europe points out; "Sega Amusements Europe has always valued the Preview show because we literally do use it as a preview to the next year. We like to show our customers what to expect in January and get feedback. The Preview allows us to plan our manufacturing for the following year and it gives us the opportunity to invite our international distributors over to see what we have in store."

Despite the well-documented difficult trading conditions worldwide, a number of companies will be exhibiting for the first time at this year's show - or taking much larger stands.

Leading UK distributor AMG Leisure will be exhibiting in both the Entrance Hall and the Champagne Suite this year, creating double the impact. "We are excited at the prospect of this year's Preview, because we know that with the new stake and prize products and our new range of pushers and redemption machines, this year's AMG product range will be the best to date," says AMG's Mark Sowray.

ACE Coin Entertainments/Gamesoft is a new exhibitor in the Entrance Hall and will be showing its range of new stakes and prize AWPs for the UK market, which includes the impressive Caribbean Cruise video multiplayer.

Near the escalators in the Entrance Hall are two new exhibitors: Cogan - the Italian kiddie rides specialist will be presenting its first licensed kiddie ride to the UK. On the neighbouring stand BetXTech is dedicated to developing high quality software solutions that will be valuable to a wide range of gambling sector operators. Director Melcom Copeland says, "We will be showing products at the show which are designed specifically for the adult gaming centre and arcade sectors."

Almotech of Ireland is another newcomer to the Entrance Hall. Brian Costigan and the team will be demonstrating the Mystro and the Eclipse jukeboxes, combining stunning design with superb build quality. Uniquely, Almotech also manages its own vast music library and utilizes industry leading interface software and networks through its alliance with AMI Entertainment. Clear and simple revenue models allows for easy adoptions, upgrades and conversions.

In the Champagne Suite, Genesis Games/Amatic is taking a much larger stand this year to show its range of slots. Cashpoint, the Austrian sports betting giant will be moving upstairs into the Champagne Suite this year. Stefan Nemec from the company says of the show, "Preview is a very important part of Cashpoint Sports Bettings' UK Calendar. Preview has established itself as a great opportunity for us to meet the customers we want to see."

For details of all the Preview exhibitors, visitors can visit the website, which contains a wealth of information. This year for the first time, the organisers have created an international news section, which includes the latest gaming legislation information from around the globe. In addition, the exhibitors profile section is constantly updated and contains valuable information about the products and personnel who will appear on each stand.

"We would urge those who haven't already, to visit www.preview-uk.com. Here, it is possible to pre-register for the show, see floorplans and access all types of exhibitor and industry information, which is constantly being updated," says Ylva Howard. "With just over a month to go before Preview, the team is working hard to ensure that this will be an exciting and successful show. We look forward to seeing you there."
