Sound Leisure will officially launch its new division this month with a new on line store dedicated to children's play equipment. SL KIDS products are quickly becoming sought after by many recognised high street names and the NHS who want to create areas for toddlers to play in safety.
Sound Leisure first started supplying these markets around 18 months ago when with its Dutch partner IKC it created a kids touch screen terminal for use in supermarkets and other retail outlets. As well as supplying childrens' play modules, soft play and interactive systems SL Kids has recently expanded to offer bespoke design ensuring customers can create the exact feel that they require for their location. Mike Black who is heading up the division as Special projects co-ordinator explained, "Since we began a few years ago the range has increased significantly and we have recently completed some large projects in a wide variety of locations including a children's hospital using special materials with anti-bacterial properties.
"Sound Leisure has its own woodworking and vac-forming divisions. This combined with our experience in both the amusement and the retail sectors means that we are ideally placed to create eye-catching children's products that can capture little imaginations, while withstanding the rigorous demands of a busy waiting area, as the number of our products has grown, we feel it is now time to dedicate a special website to this product area, so that we can attract more customers looking for quality children's games and furnishings at good value prices."
