Gaming Laboratories International Inc (GLI), the gaming products and systems testing company, has announced the promotion of Thiran Marimuthu (below) to General Manager of GLI Africa.
Marimuthu has been with GLI Africa since its inception in 2000 and has been a significant factor in its growth over the past six years. Marimuthu has established extensive relationships with the regulators throughout South Africa and has played a pivotal role in the development of technical standards used in the provincial jurisdictions, as well as being involved in the development and technical management of the other GLI Europe offices in the Netherlands and Italy.
In addition to the provision of test and certification services for jurisdictions around the world, GLI Africa has established a fully functional interoperability centre, the first of its kind on the continent of Africa. The environment houses six systems and is able to perform the complete suite of SAS tests, including TITO, EFT, AFT, and SAS Progressive.
