Three TAB Austria Holding employees were honoured for their many years of service and dedication at a grand Company Party. Ing. Siegfried Dattl jun., managing director, thought up a very special surprise for the celebratory presentation.
Rudolf Kern, Karl-Heinz Hermann and Franz Hubinger were called up one by one to receive personal thanks from Ing. Siedfried Dattl jun. for their many years of loyalty and contribution to the firm. All three received a large, beautifully decorated gift basket containing a selection of delicious goodies together with a travel voucher for a vitality and wellness weekend.
Then as their special surprise, the three colleagues were sent off on a “journey through time”. Siegfried Dattl jun. presented one or two especially chosen trade newspaper articles from “back then”. Everyone laughed heartily at enthusiastic reports about ”novel video player systems” and about ”records being replaced by CDs”. Many employees who had lived through these times were visibly touched as they reminisced.
Siegfried Dattl jun. is justifiably proud of the fact that his colleagues had given the company so many years of service and dedication: “In these fast-moving times loyalty has lost its meaning in many other companies. This is why I am particularly delighted and proud that we have so many colleagues who have been loyal to our firm, TAB Austria, for 20, 30 years or even longer and who are still motivated and keen to work for us with such diligence. This proves that these colleagues identify with the Company and live with it – and that is one of the most important preconditions for the future development of innovative products and for setting new trends, ” he said
Workshop manager, Franz Hubinger, who joined the Company on May 1, 1989, added, “Sometimes it seems like only yesterday that I started with TAB Austria. The time has passed so quickly and even after 20 years, work is still great fun.”
