According to the statistical data recently promulgated by the Department of Culture of Hebei Province, the inspections that were conducted into business places in the cultural market, including business places offering internet services and electronic games operations in the cities of Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Qinhuangdao, Baoding, Handan, Xingtai, Langfang, Changzhou, Zhangjiakou, Chengde and Hengshui in the first quarter of 2006, involved 39,976 people.
