During 2009, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province has actively supported and promoted the animation and online game industry’s development and enthusiastically explored new directions for the development and management of e-game venues.
Therefore, the city received high ratings from the game industry. At the 2009 (7th) Annual Conference of China e-Game Industry, four local governments including the People’s Government of Suzhou City were rated as the “role model governments for supporting the China animation and game industry’s development for the year 2009”.
That represents a full recognition to Suzhou City’s game industry development work from the Organization Committee of the Annual Conference of China’s e-Game Industry. Deputy Mayor Wang Hong-sheng of Suzhou City attended the Annual Conference for the Suzhou City government.
