With the introduction of the regulations contained in the manovra-bis governmental measures, also known as the Bersani decree, there will be important changes in the distribution of gaming on offer to the public.
The new regulations contained in the decree set the scene for the establishment of a network of specialised shops, able to offer a very wide range of games and betting.
This is in order to enable more effective control over the legality of the games offered, to concentrate gaming within a network of a limited size, to offer players all necessary information and amusement services, and to enable the development of best professional practices in the marketing of the sector.
It is anticipated that the definitions of the points of sale, including betting agencies, gaming shops open to the public and bingo halls, will be issued later through successive regulations.
