JPM was emphasising its commitment to the Spanish arcade market at September’s FER-Interazar expo in Madrid, highlighting the Max Power system on distributor Grupo Comatel’s stand along with two new Type B games released specifically for Spain.
Max Power, marketed under JPM’s Crystal brand, is a multi-terminal game which the firm says “is particularly attractive to operators as its three terminals attract less tax than three individual machines”.
A large display above the three terminals – available as slant-tops or in Crystal’s Linear upright cabinet – helps the trio stand out in a crowded gaming environment. JPM says the system has already achieved notable success in the Czech Republic.
The first title for Max Power in Spain is Mega Lineas, a six-reel multi-stake card game where players can climb a ladder after a reel win to multiply their winnings up to a hundred-fold. A number of other titles are due soon.
Also new from JPM for the Spanish market are two Type B titles, both featuring dual screens: Royal Roulette and Ladrón de Cajas Fuertes, a three-reel game on a safe-cracking theme designed especially for Spain, with a hidden fourth reel for higher-stakes players.
Expect to see some new JPM installations in Spain soon: Grupo Comatel has already ordered Ladrón de Cajas Fuertes, and is testing Mega Lineas on the Max Power system.
“It’s great that the changes and investment in product have been so well received by our distributor,” said JPM Group COO Carl Johnston.
“The Spanish player is discriminating but also loyal,” he observed.
