Just in case there’s the odd British pub-goer who’s not sick of The X Factor yet, Soundnet is offering its customers a free weekly playlist featuring songs performed on the TV talent show.
All users of its Milestones in Music package, which normally comprises top 40 songs from present and past charts, are entitled to the X Factor playlist. It includes both performances by the contestants, and the original songs they are covering.
The playlist is updated online every Monday, while offline customers receive new material once a fortnight.
“Once again, The X Factor is making the headlines on a daily basis and there are some really interesting acts this year, from Cher Lloyd to Mary Byrne. All sorts of music genres are being covered,” said Soundnet’s James Luck.
“We want pubs to be able to join in with the X Factor fever and encourage customer participation and healthy cash boxes with this free playlist.”
