More than 120 amusements professionals attended seminars on designing and laying out a gaming venue at the European Amusement and Gaming Expo (EAG) in London.
Presenter Frank Seninsky said: “Attendees came to the seminar programme with a strong interest and were ready to learn the ins and outs of redemption. Show organiser Karen Cooke and her team found a unique and practical way to bring a successful educational programme to the United Kingdom.
“They were able to incorporate the seminars within the trade show floor without the noise and distractions that usually exist in this type of setup. I was overwhelmed with the enthusiasm there is currently worldwide towards learning how to really run a redemption operation.”
Seninsky is president of the the Alpha-Omega Group of companies in the U.S., which includes a consulting agency, Amusement Entertainment Management, as well as two revenue-sharing equipment providers, Alpha-Omega Amusements and Alpha-BET Entertainment, and Alpha-Omega Sales, a gaming distributor.
Also held at EAG were another two seminars, presented by Michael Getlan, focusing on operational management of family entertainment centres.
The EAG expo itself attracted more than 5000 visitors and 140 exhibitors, organisers said. Sponsored by the British Amusement Catering Trade Association (BACTA), it was in just its second year. In this issue, we report in detail on some companies’ experiences at the event from p24 onwards.
