Billiard cloth manufacturer Milliken is continuing to develop its territorial coverage with the appointment of three new distributors.
With current business partners ranging from Beijing to the U.S., they bring to 25 the company’s international supplier network.
Pool is leading this export drive. In Paris, Bulldog Billiards – owned by Dafydd Hughes – is now the distributor for Milliken’s English pool cloth, Strachan 6811, for the 7ft table market.
Further east, Rolandas Gaucys from Bilijardai in Lithuania and Florin Tat of SC Tat in Romania are both supplying Milliken SuperPro for the American pool market in those countries.
“Pool in Europe continues to be a growth market for us,” reports Milliken marketing manager Stuart Gardiner. “Europe winning the Mosconi Cup for the third time in four years is all the evidence we need that pool is in rude health and expanding. Success at this level provides a real stimulus for us as manufacturers because it generates a great deal of player interest in the clubs and leagues.”
