Californian bowlers are enjoying the game Japanese-style after the opening of Round One Corporation’s first site in the U.S.

The venue at the Puente Hills mall in City of Industry, near Los Angeles, was opened by subsidiary Round One Entertainment last autumn and branded as Round 1 Bowling and Amusement.

Twenty-six Brunswick-equipped lanes are aimed at the family market.

The 70,000-square-foot complex – modelled on the 30-year-old Japanese amusement company’s facilities in its home country – also includes karaoke, ping-pong, billiards, darts, and arcade and redemption games in a room accommodating more than 200 players.
