Terminator goes global

Arcade shooting game Terminator Salvation is now being played in 34 countries worldwide.
Kazakhstan is the latest nation where players are encountering the game, available with screen sizes from 32 inches to 100 inches and distributed in Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Middle East by Brent Sales/Namco Europe.
More than 3200 units have been shipped, the company says, attributing Terminator Salvation’s popularity to gameplay as well as the potent licence.
“Terminator is one of the industry’s success stories and follows on from other Raw Thrills games such as Super Bikes, Fast&Furious Drift and H2Overdrive. Having one of the most popular sci-fi properties is a huge benefit in attracting the first coin, but fundamentally it’s about the game,” said Kjeld Erichsen, international business development manager at Brent Sales/Namco Europe.
“Being able to deliver a compelling out-of-home experience is essential and Terminator achieves this with features including heavy-duty recoiling rifles, a clip-action reload, glowing neon rifle holders and a replica T-600.”
