The event is attracting more and more well-known billiards brands from China and across the globe. The largest of the table-makers, Star, Shender and Yalin, created stands that were as professional and impressive as we have ever seen, with Star alone exhibiting more than 20 tables and featuring demonstrations from snooker and pool stars such as Stephen Hendry and Allison Fisher.

Overseas manufacturers also featured prominently, with brands such as Palko, Predator, Kamui, Buffalo, Milliken and Brunswick all present.

And this year the atmosphere was extremely positive, reflecting the significant growth in pool and snooker in China. One exhibitor from Australia’s Palko said: “The GBE is now the most important expo on the calendar, you simply must be there. It is the place to be to see what the big players are doing and it’s so wide-reaching, we met with potential customers from every continent and many countries. It has been a real success for Palko.”
