A London conference in mid-July will mark the debut of the Digital Out-of-Home Entertainment Network Association (DNA), a new body promising to “represent and promote the interests and prosperity” of both suppliers and operators in sectors such as amusements and attractions.
Attendance at the DNA’s event, to be held 14 July at the 1 Victoria Street conference centre and supported by the government body UK Trade & Investment as well as partners including Euroslot, will be limited to 100 delegates.
Following a keynote address from U.S. entertainments and amusements guru Randy White, topics covered will include technology, manufacturing and marketing in the digital amusements and pay-to-play sector; digital interactive attractions such as 3D simulators; “retail-tainment”, for example gaming kiosks; edutainment; and interactive gaming content development.
Organisers stress, however, that neither the association nor its inaugural conference is aimed at the gambling sector.
