Ritzio Italy has rolled out an additional 32 VLTs to its Vulcano della Fortuna properties, following a pilot of eight Lottomatica devices at its La Spezia site in April. With the addition of the new units, the firm now has VLTs at six locations. And it plans to offer VLTs in all of its dozen Italian sites by the end of the summer.
Still more deployments will follow as a further three venues open after renovation.
“The Italian gaming market moves toward diversity – to provide more services at a single location. We are following the trend with an offering of a mix of modern slot machines, VLTs and traditional services,” said Poline Brat, head of Ritzio’s Italian division.
Ritzio entered the Italian market in 2007 with Vulcano della Fortuna, a localised version of its Vulcan brand.
