Inspired Gaming Group has added tennis to its Virtual Sports line-up of games which operators can offer their customers online, on interactive TV, and on terminals or PCs in locations such as bookmakers. The firm filmed two British tennis pros in action with 60 separate cameras before employing motion-capture technology to create realistic animated players.
Action can take place on indoor or outdoor courts customisable with the operator’s branding, enhanced by a choice of surfaces and weather conditions.
Virtual Tennis also supports in-play betting, the first time that this option – increasingly popular in real-world wagering – has been offered in Virtual Sports.
It joins horse and dog racing, motor racing, football and speedway in Inspired’s collection. A motor-racing game based on the technology has recently gone live at 1000 locations in the Chinese province of Hunan on the National Sports Lottery platform, in a joint venture between Ladbrokes and AGTech Holdings that also uses technology from OpenBet.
