More than three quarters of stand space for January’s EAG International has already been booked and all of last year’s major exhibitors are to return, say organisers. The event, held 24-26 January at ExCeL in London, has also secured sponsorship from BALPPA, the trade body for parks, piers, zoos and attractions.
Meanwhile, Clarion Events – whose ICE Totally Gaming expo moves to ExCeL in 2013 – says it has sold stand space in the new venue to Novomatic, Playtech, IGT, Atronic International, TCSJohn Huxley, Astro and WMS Gaming.
Said the firm’s Julian Graves: “We are moving to ExCel at a great time. The area will have been transformed by the hospitality and transport infrastructures which are now underway in preparation for the London games of 2012. The Olympics have certainly accelerated the improvements to this part of London far beyond what we originally anticipated.”
