Games Media, a leading designer and publisher of game content for a variety of technology platforms, has announced that it has been accredited with the ISO 9001 quality standard for its entire business operations.
In particular, the standard has recognised the company’s development approach to games of skill and chance for international terminals and mobile phones.
Steve Murray (pictured), chief strategic development officer, commented, “I am delighted that Games Media has achieved this quality standard. It is an endorsement of the high level of professionalism and commitment here at Games Media.
“After six months of dedication, ISO accreditation was formally awarded on October 20,” he continued.
“To come from a standing start to full approval in just six months is a tremendous achievement of which everyone at Games Media should be proud,” commented Andrew Ludlow, Chief Executive Officer. “This standard will support our commitment to ensuring that value and quality is delivered both in the UK and internationally.
“Games Media’s objective for obtaining ISO accreditation was to help achieve excellence for customers, ensure consistency and improve all working practices - something we are clearly demonstrating as we proactively manage the analogue to digital transition,” added Ludlow.
