The renowned Keane family of showmen has reinvested in the amusement machine manufacturer Elton Games International.
Stuart Keane will take the non-executive position as Chairman of the company and will be joined by his sons Shaun and Peter. Mike Foster will remain as a fellow director and shareholder.
Stuart Keane established Elton Games as one of the world’s leading suppliers of competitive group games back in the 1970s with the famous Kentucky Derby-themed racing game. He has been involved in the amusement industry, both in the UK and the USA, for more than 35 years.
Over 300 different themed Derby games have been sold worldwide and Stuart Keane has had a direct hand in selling the games into more than 50 countries, from the US to Japan. As well as introducing the Elton Derby to the industry, he developed the successful amusement games Beat the Clock, Race Time and Lucky Seven Bingo.
Elton will launch a new version of the Elton Derby at the Iaapa, with design-protected new features.
“It is great to be working with all the company’s old and new employees,” said Shaun Keane on behalf of the family. “We intend to bring exciting new innovations to the industry, as our father did before us.”
