Diversified technology company 3M promises to demonstrate one of the industry’s most innovative, widest-ranging multitouch product portfolios at ICE.

New product prototypes based on 3M projected capacitive technology (3M PCT) will be showcased for the first time in Europe by 3M’s Touch Systems division. These include sophisticated multitouch desktop display models specifically designed for high-fidelity touch LCD displays in sizes ranging up to 32 inches.

ICE will also be the European demonstration platform for a new range of multitouch desktop displays that offer 20 simultaneous touch events at an ultra-fast 6ms response time. The 18.5-inch 3M multitouch Display M1866PW, 21.5-inch 3M multitouch Display M2167PW and 24-inch 3M multitouch Display M2467PW will be on the stand to show how 3M’s portfolio is expanding to address a broader multi-user/multitouch application environment.

Other stand demonstrations will include several 32-inch 3M multitouch Display C3266PW chassis units (offering 40 simultaneous touch events at 10ms response time) configured as gaming tables, including a cascade table.

And in addition to these, 3M will be showing its industry-standard surface capacitive technology (SCT) products, including the 3M MicroTouch System SCT3250EX (5.7-inch to 32-inch display sizes), 3M MicroTouch System SCT7650EX (for vandal-prone and rugged applications) and 3M MicroTouch Display C2234SW (with a robust metal chassis housing).
