GLI Australia has announced that it has recently moved its Adelaide testing laboratory into a new and larger facility located south of the city.
The laboratory was designed to meet specific requirements of gaming machines and systems testing to ensure that GLI Australia has the capability and capacity to undertake the increase in evaluations for the Australian, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific regions.
The Adelaide facility boasts a systems-integration laboratory for multiple jurisdictions operating VLC, QCOM, X-Series and SAS protocols, giving manufacturers the ability to have devices evaluated against real-life systems for multiple jurisdictions including Macau.
GLI Australia employs 45 people in total, including the recent hire of six new engineers who handle local manufacturers that sell equipment to the worldwide market. GLI Australia operates two fully equipped test laboratories in Adelaide and Sydney and services Australian and Asian-based manufacturers for markets including Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
The company’s Managing Director Ian Hughes commented, “Our new facility allows us to significantly increase our testing capacity to deliver time-effective testing to jurisdictions not only in the Australian and New Zealand markets, but for regulated jurisdictions worldwide.”
