Face Place, the US photo booth manufacturer, has added an interactive blog to its website. Short for web-log, a blog is a journal or newsletter that is updated frequently and read in reverse chronological order. Blogs are used to convey news or commentary about a specific subject.
A blog can combine text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic.
In developing its blog, Face Place wanted to be sure it was more then just a sales tool.
“We want to expand the awareness of photo booths and get coin-op people thinking of them as a viable and valuable entertainment element,” stated Face Place vice-president of business development, Peter Gustafson. “Our blog will contain interesting information relating to photo booths and updates on what’s happening at Face Place. Our blog will give website visitors a reason to visit often to see what we’re up to.”
