Brown (pictured) has raised almost £1,500 in sponsorship from the jump, which took place at the Duke of Gloucester barracks in Cirencester. And despite suffering from vertigo, he managed to freefall for 45 seconds, spending a total of five minutes in the air.

“My daughter Lauren, aged 12, was badly hurt in a car accident in September, just two days after starting school,” said Brown. “It was very traumatic

she was in intensive care and lapsed into a coma for about a week. She is now on the path to recovery but Bibic helped us through a difficult time and were fantastic. I wanted to give something back.”
