Euroslot recently caught up with Payam Zadeh, General Manager, JCM Global EMEA, for an update on the PayCheck 4(r) Thermal Printer.
The new PayCheck 4® Thermal Printer from JCM Global is simply the best printer in the gaming industry because it is faster, smarter and longer-lasting than any other. And operators around the world are experiencing the difference for themselves.
PayCheck 4 has numerous advantages over competitive products. First, PayCheck 4 is the fastest printer in the industry, printing and presenting a complete ticket twice as fast as competitive printers. Next, PayCheck 4 has the most standard memory of any printer in the gaming industry, giving operators more power and flexibility to communicate directly with their customers. Last, it is the longest-lasting printer in the industry, with a print head that lasts twice as long as any competitive product – an average life span of 640,000 slot-type tickets.
Maybe the only thing faster than PayCheck 4’s print speed is the speed at which it has gained market share. Nine months ago, the PayCheck 4 started getting all necessary OEM and regulatory approvals and hoping to secure possible traction in the highly competitive gaming market. Those hopes were met with incredible operator enthusiasm and tremendous sales right out of the gate.
Originally a Nanoptix product, JCM took the PayCheck 4 under its stewardship in 2011. With the product’s incredible features, and with the JCM name and sales team behind it, PayCheck 4 has become a top-selling product. Recently, JCM was named the preferred vendor to APEX and will install PayCheck 4 at Casino Strazny, which is owned and operated by APEX in the Czech Republic. Soon, JCM will install PayCheck 4 in all other APEX casinos.
On the other side of the Atlantic, JCM expects the PayCheck 4 to be installed in 40 percent of the games in North America casinos openings in 2012. In fact, JCM recently installed 5,300 PayCheck 4 units in just 30 days: 4,700 at the recently opened Maryland Live! Casino in Maryland and 600 at the new Oxford Casino in Maine.
With the success of PayCheck 4, JCM recently completed an acquisition of 49 percent Nanoptix Inc. common stock, teaming the JCM and Nanoptix forces from an equity standpoint to deliver both top quality bill validators and printers.
The roadmap for PayCheck 4’s future paints a future path as bright as the present. Plans include development that will exploit JCM’s network of technology relationships, and JCM expects to announce several new application projects that will build on the iVIZION® bill validator platform and further position PayCheck 4 for success.
The PayCheck 4 has also been integrated into Leap Forward Gaming’s award-winning SaffariNet® ecosystem, a project in which JCM is also a technology partner.
