Setting up legislation
Peace of Mind is NMi’s slogan. How do we offer this to you?
NMi has 100 % of the Dutch Street Market and about 40 % of the Dutch Casino Market. Our acceptance throughout Europe is great but we are looking for more density of coverage in this area. If NMi is involved in the preparation of the Gaming Law in new countries that open up, we are ready to take machines straight away and understand what is behind the legislation. Our own internal organisation can be set up and ready to receive machines at the critical time. We can even prepare manufacturers by giving them training on how the legislation will work and the best route to market.
Turnaround
There is nothing more critical to a gaming machine manufacturer than capitalising quickly on the huge investment necessary in developing a front line AWP or Casino Slot. NMi promises customers a four-to-six weeks turnaround. You are informed weekly of progress on the project and if something falls out, you are informed within 24 hours. NMi will in the meantime continue working on other aspects of the equipment so that no time is lost.
Lotteries
Not only are we testing for the Casino and Street Market, also the testing of lotteries form a significant factor in the company’s expansion. NMi has worked hard to bring the lotteries under some control. The World Lottery Association has been approached by NMi to try to establish one framework within which the entire industry can operate. Using one testing house to cater for the certification of a number of jurisdictions would have obvious benefits, but beyond that, a common specification across Europe would give the industry a legal and technical basis within which each country could establish its own subtle nuances. NMi offers independent, expert advice on the design and setting up of a lottery.
