SAPAR’s President, Paolo Dalla Pria, recently declared: “We have quickly shifted from a system without rules to a system built upon too many rules and regulations that make both the distribution and the management processes slow and complicated.”
He continued: “In a short period of time, our companies have introduced innovations that entailed significant investments and a radical change in corporate culture. Today, more than ever in the past, SAPAR must be a real point of reference for the associate companies. Our task is to provide services and protection to ensure that the transformation of the sector will in no way remove the opportunities that have led the Italian coin-op businessmen to believe and invest in this market.”
The President of SAPAR concluded by observing: “We are all involved – if we care for our industry then everyone will have to do their bit. We must abandon dangerous behaviour that leads us to individual success and instead embrace altruism and tolerance in our daily activities. I wish this to be an appeal for greater co-operation among suppliers, manufacturers, managers and dealers. SAPAR’s plans cannot be realised without these preconditions. Finally, I should like to remind you that SAPAR’s strength is interlinked with the success of other companies that are involved in the management of arcade games. These games need to be relaunched and this relaunch needs to be shared in other European countries such as France, where a reduction in taxation is likely to be introduced for the operation of these games.”
