Published:  01 January, 2007

JPM International has signed a perpetual game content distribution licence with Games Warehouse to deliver video-based games to more than 6,000 server-based terminals in clubs and pubs across the UK.

Under the agreement, JPM International will initially deliver the company’s extremely popular Catchphrase and Hangman 3 SWP games. Additional games will be delivered through Games Warehouse’s Proteus and Paragon video gaming terminals throughout the lifetime of the contract.

Based in Nottingham, Games Warehouse is one of the UK's largest suppliers of coin-operated, video-based entertainment systems. Content is developed in-house and also licensed from third-party developers. The

selection of third party content is based on the games’ combination of innovation and commercial appeal.

Catchphrase is based on the same format as the popular TV show and includes bespoke footage and commentary from the show’s original host Roy Walker. The game has players vying for the chance to win prizes by guessing popular catchphrases. Hangman 3 is contemporary take on the traditional game of hangman with players competing to guess the correct phrase or word.

“This deal is indicative of the quality and popularity of our gaming content and we’re looking forward to developing a very successful partnership with Games Warehouse,” explained Charles Walker, Managing Director, JPM International (pictured).
