Talarius’s Quicksilver estate of Adult Gaming Centres is now 200-strong following the purchase of two venues from The Wilson Fun Company. The deal was completed on December 13 for an undisclosed sum. Both AGCs, which have been trading as Main Street Amusements, are in Gillingham, Kent.
Talarius Commercial Director Byron Evans commented: “We are delighted to have concluded this purchase which provides us with our first representation in Gillingham. While the news focus will, understandably be on the 200 landmark it is important to recognise that these are important additions to the estate in their own right. The venues are superbly located within what we believe will be a strong trading territory, they fit comfortably with our operating synergies and strategically they complement our presence in Kent. We are confident that they will make an important contribution to the business.”
The latest purchase is part of a far reaching expansion programme which has seen the addition of 73 venues over an 18-month period. Quicksilver is now represented in 153 towns and cities making it a defining brand in high street adult gaming.
