Brent Electronic has announced the promotion of Steve Short to the post of sales manager. Short, whose appointment is with immediate effect, assumes the mantle of duties previously held by Peter Murphy.
The sales manager joined Brent Electronic in 2005, after spells with Philip Shefras Spares, Suzo and, most recently, Cosmic Video Amusements. During his time with Brent he has played an instrumental role in helping to develop the company’s successful key-accounts strategy, interfacing with the country’s leading machine operators.
Brent Electonic’s director, Paul Desforges, commented: “It’s always pleasing to promote from within and we were extremely fortunate that in Steve Short we had the ideal candidate. Steve has tremendous depth of product knowledge, he understands the dynamics of the business and has developed strong customer service skills. I’m certain that he will be a great asset to the company in his new role.”
