Funworld Greece is attempting to speak to the Greek Finance Minister on the subject of compensation for the illegal ban of its ban on electronic games. The ban was introduced in 2002 and four years later was deemed unconstitutional by the European Court. Greece now has to make the necessary changes, or be liable to fines.
“It is important, that on the one hand we have a decision that helps us legally in front of the courts. On the other hand the Greek government has a reason, that Europe has forced them, to change the law,” said Nikos Serdaris from Funworld Greece. “We try, thought the Austrian embassy, to arrange a date with the Greek minister for finance. The government hasn’t ammended this decision until now,” he added
