JPM unveils Cabinet
Published:  01 February, 2007

An exciting development unveiled at ATEi 2007 is JPM International‚s new Prestige cabinet. This new cabinet has been created to deliver JPM International‚s vision of the future and plays an important part in the company‚s aggressive growth strategy throughout 2007. The new machine is the result of substantial investment in new skills, personnel, product development, hardware, software, support and training as the company transitions future products and game play towards video based content.

JPM's new Prestige cabinet certainly delivers the flexibility needed to cope with the forever changing fluctuations in market demand. The new cabinet can be adapted to offer two different specifications ˆ one for the street/arcade market, the other for the casino market. Although initially aimed at Central and Eastern Europe the flexibility and universal appeal of the Prestige cabinet has inspired a number of concepts, which are to be developed for markets across the globe, with particular interest in application within the UK and some Western European markets in which JPM Video content have not traditionally been active. At launch, the arcade platform will offer eleven different games and will be available in Czech and Slovak markets. The Casino platform will be available with six different games initially for the Ukrainian market. It is planned to make both versions of the machine available in the UK, Spanish, Dutch and select Central European countries following launch. In order to ensure the long term attractiveness of the platform, JPM will be providing regular compendium updates which will include some of JPM‚s many successful game concepts. Under the hood, the Prestige platform offers a hardware specification that is comparable to current high-end PC platforms. Running Pluto 6 and the Linux Operating system, the machine delivers extremely high level 2D and 3D graphics whilst also offer the ability to be fully re-configured to specific customer configuration options. The jaw dropping graphics are achieved through incorporation of an extremely power AMD 64 processor, dual head N-Vidia graphic card, 1GB of RAM and a high capacity hard disk drive. The machine‚s stylish, purpose built cabinet with player friendly ergonomics delivers an exceptional aesthetic that matches the platforms powerful innards. Designed to suit the varied need of JPM‚s diverse customer base, the Prestige cabinet offers three flexible formats. Firstly, the cabinet is available with twin 19-inch TFT displays with touch screen capabilities on the lower screen. Secondly there is the reel to video hybrid version which has conventional reels in the lower glass an a 19-inch TFT on the top half. And finally there is the third option - a single 32-inch touch-screen TFT display. The machine supports a range of 5?‰ and 3?‰ coin mechanics dependent on the country and communications protocol. For security purposes, coins can be segregated to any on of the machines three cashboxes. An optional coin mech positioned below average shoulder height is available with the option of aesthetic blanking for machines without any coin mechanic fitted. In addition, to ensure all future customer preferences are catered for, a JCM EBA 32 is also fitted along with the flexibility to facilitate a card reader as and when required. Additional optional extra features include a ticket printer and barcode reader. Both are available from launch as an optional extra. For security purposes, the machines‚ electronics have been separated from the cashboxes so the collectors do not have access to the electronics (apart from meters). In addition, with the option to seal the machine‚s electronics, the Prestige cabinet is fully secure and non tamper proof. Designed, developed and manufactured to deliver an exceptional experience for customers and players alike, JPM‚s new Prestige video cabinet is set to be an instant hit.
