Following its successful AIM flotation in June this year, Inspired Gaming Group (Inspired) has completed a reorganisation that structures the group for its future growth and that of its customers.
The reorganisation means that the two businesses of Leisure Link and Inspired Broadcast Networks will now be united under one leadership team. As a result of this, the following key appointments have been made. Jim O’Halleran will head all activities in the UK and Ireland, while Anne de Kerckhove will head all international activities, including taking responsibility for Inspired Leisure Link Italia, Inspired’s Italian subsidiary. Dave Wilson will head UK operations and Ted Robinson will head the group’s new Global Support Services facility. Steve Wooding will head up product innovation, while Michelle Rule will manage platform innovation.
Sue Albion, in addition to her company-secretarial role, will also head commercial services, which includes responsibility for legal, compliance and personnel. Red Vision, the Group’s CGI development business, will continue to operate under the leadership of Dave Mousley.
Inspired is also investing in extra staff and facilities. It is about to open a new Global Network Operations Centre in North Wales which will employ around 100 software engineers and computer scientists. The new centre will provide operational support to all customers and users of Inspired’s server based gaming (SBG) platform.
Russell Hoyle, Chairman of Inspired Gaming Group, commented: “At a time when the machine industry is struggling with declining revenues and squeezed margins, we are the only player bucking the trend by continuing to invest in our facilities and technology. Our SBG platform has already transformed the FOBT and SWP markets; it is set to do the same with AWP.”
