Barcrest Group has appointed Robert White (pictured) to the position of Managing Director sales and commercial, replacing Lee Berridge who is leaving Barcrest Group at the end of this month in order to start his own property business.
White has been employed with Barcrest Group for over six years, the past three and half years as Finance Director. In addition to his finance responsibilities, he has worked on strategic and commercial matters, particularly in developing customer relationships in new business areas including interactive digital TV gaming. White holds a BSc (Hons) in management studies and is a qualified chartered accountant. Nik Novak - Director of UK Sales, Willem Korteweg - Director of European Sales and Rosie Littlewood - group marketing manager will report to White. David Jones, the financial controller for Barcrest Group becomes finance director designate. Jones is a chartered accountant with a first class honours degree in economics, accounting and finance from the university of Manchester. Robert Lamb, vice president and Managing Director of IGT-UK Holdings, said, “I’m delighted to announce Robert’s appointment as Managing Director sales and commercial and wish him every success in his new role. Lee takes with him our very best wishes and thanks for his excellent contribution to Barcrest Group during the past eight years. Robert will be working closely with Lee over the coming weeks to meet with our UK and overseas customers to effect a smooth handover.“
