According to the statement of Hangzhou City Hall, the sum of the game locations in Hangzhou is planned to be limited to less than 100, and the management of the demonstrative game locations will also being launched from April 1 till the end of 2007.
The content of the management includes the following instructions. The total area of the newly-opened game locations cannot be under 1,000 sq.m. The total amount of the game machines being installed in a game location cannot be under 150. The types of the game machines being installed in a game location cannot be less than 16% of the total machines being installed. The total area of the game locations being established in hotels (Four-Star above hotels), commercial buildings, resorts and comprehensive cultural facilities cannot under 600 sq.m. And the total number of the game machines being installed cannot be under 100 (the total area of the above sites with game locations must exceed 5,000 sq.m).
