During the Malaga show, the Gauselmann Group won the award “Foreign business of the year”. Michael Gauselmann (pictured) accepted the award during a special lunch ceremony, making his thanks in Spanish and pointing out some important landmarks in the company’s history.
This summer, the Gauselmann Group will be celebrating its 50-year anniversary, Michael Gauselmann himself will have been working in the company for 25 years and for half of that time there has been a very successful cooperation between the Gauselmann Group and the Spanish company Sente S.A. with entrepreneur Felix Hernán at its head. The success story began in 1995. In September of that year, the Gauselmann Group presented its AWP machine Cashline at the Madrid trade show for the first time. It caused a stir due to its innovative gaming system coupled with high gaming revenues. In only a few months 9,000 machines were delivered to Spain making the Gauselmann Group the biggest foreign supplier of gaming machines in Spain within a very short time.
