Langer is partner in sales

Norbert Langer, who has been manager of Funworld ag’s sales since 2003, was granted full commercial procuration by the company with effect from April 1, 2007. “With Norbert Langer we have a man who knows the product inside and out since it was launched on the market over ten years ago,” said Marco Huter, Funworld’s CSO.

Langer, who had managed his own games terminal operation for six years, practically ‘grew up’ with the industry. His background includes the management of the former Swedish Funworld subsidiary and a time following this acting as a consultant. These have proved to be ideal prerequisites for his role leading the sales team. The team is made up of the international and national (Austrian) sales -, sales support - and order processing departments. “I plan to expand market leadership within Europe, to position Photo Play successfully with creative and innovative ideas and to build up new markets in the long-term,” said Langer, outlining his plans for Photo Play. “An absolutely top product with corresponding quality and performance ensures that my team and I will achieve this goal,” he added. Langer spends more than two thirds of his working time directly at Photo Play clients’ in Europe and in the USA. “Comprehensive product knowledge as well as personal contact with players and operators directly at the point of play, are extremely important for the company and for the brand”, explained Langer. “This knowledge is deciding for the further development of Photo Play and for its innovativeness,” he added. With his expertise Langer is an important source of inspiration for many of funworld’s development projects.

“Langer becoming an authorised representative is also a strong sign for our partners. They communicate with one of our company’s top key persons that can make and expedite decisions, and who can represent clients’ interests even more effectively from within,” explained Huter, who is clearly pleased by the new strength now supplementing top management.
