The famous Taiwanese jeans brand Edwin, initially overlooked the potential for investment in the amusement industry. But now the Dabush Company has proposed a plan for building an international hotel in Penghu, one of three planned for the region with a the total investment worth NT$2.5 billion (about US$76 million).
The official of the Council for Economic Planning and Development showed that Dabush Company has applied to the Ministry of Transportation And Communications for the permission of the finance and development process, and the construction is going to start in August. Penghu is a popular tourist destination but there are no five-star hotels there. There are also plans to establish a gambling district there
