GTI Asia Hong Kong Expo 2007 is set to take place at Hall 7A of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on November 7-9. The exhibits include all kinds of video game machines, simulators, fairground attractions, kiddie rides, theme park facilities, table footballs, parts and accessories, and peripheral devices. There are currently around 300 exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
At present, the Chinese market is booming, arcade numbers in cities of all sizes have increased rapidly, and the need for all kinds of machines has increased accordingly. Take the biggest distribution centre in China – Panyu – for example, where operators can’t get enough machines to sell because market demands are so great and the product supply line cannot cope. In this fever pitch period, game manufacturers in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea are laying out their businesses in the Chinese market and hope to possess a profitable position in the market. “GTI Asia Hong Kong Expo 2007 aims to explore a shortcut to the Chinese market for overseas manufacturers and to create a bridge that connects to the rest of the world for the global operators,” said Robert Lin, show organiser. “The manufacturers all hope to expand the incredible market promptly by exhibiting at the show. For those operators who want to broaden the Chinese as well as the global markets, you cannot miss this remarkable chance!” he added.
