LAI Games USA launched two new games at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) trade show held in Orlando, Florida last month. Chuckles the Clown is an entertaining new ticket redemption game for children, that’s easy to play.
It features a bright and colourful clown cabinet and cheerful circus sound effects. The object of the game is to accumulate points by placing lightweight balls into the clown’s mouth as Chuckles’ the Clown’s rotates his head from side to side. The more points a player accumulates the more tickets earned. The second game, Little Masterpiece, is a novelty game that allows children to express their artistic ability by interacting with the touch screen LCD monitor to create pictures the users can print and take with them. Little Masterpiece features an attractive cabinet in the shape of a bear and has four different play modes with over 20 different image options to choose from. Scribble mode, designed for the youngest users, uncovers a picture as you move your hand over the screen. Decorate mode allows users to add stamps to the main image. Fill in the Picture mode allows users to manipulate the colour of the image. The most advanced mode, Draw the Picture, allows users to have full control to draw a picture. “We are very excited about unveiling Chuckles the Clown and Little Masterpiece at IAAPA, one of the industry’s largest shows” said Alan Freimuth, General Manager of LAI Games. "Lai Games has had a lot of success appealing to the pre-teen audience and we feel that these two games will produce tremendous results in the preteen demographic.”
