The CIRSA company has taken an important step in achieving its business aspirations by becoming the communist Government’s technological partner for the introduction of the popular game of Bingo into the country.
Pilot tests will be carried out in the province of Tianjin, where Cirsa is finalising the opening of the first legal bingo hall in China which will be owned by the State. In this way the Spanish leisure group has positioned itself in a preferential way to enter as the operator for this type of business when the Chinese Government authorizes it. “The Chinese Government wants a technology that allows it to know immediately everything that is happening in the halls” comments Joaquim Agut, Director General of Cirsa, “If, finally, the Chinese Government allows the entry of private companies into the bingo business, we would look into the operation. For the moment the Chinese Government is only interested in an IT system that will give them remote online control of all the bingo halls throughout the country”. CIRSA has developed a technological platform that allows the running of simultaneous bingo games, so that players in different halls are playing the same game, which increases the prizes substantially.
