Barcrest Group, along with Games Media and The Global Draw, wholly owned subsidiaries of Scientific Games have announced a strategic relationship that will see the organisations working closely in a number of key markets.
At the heart of the relationship are a number of new content provision agreements, whereby Barcrest Group will develop video content for Games Media’s Juice platform and Games Media and The Global Draw will develop video content for Barcrest Group’s Triple 7 cabinet and ICONIC sb server-based gaming system. These new agreements, covering the provision of content into Pubs, Arcades, Bingo Halls, and Private Members’ Clubs, build on the existing agreement covering the supply of Barcrest Group video game content to Licensed Betting Offices on the Global Draw (Nevada™) platform; and are aimed at providing a greater choice for the player and building machine revenues for retail partners.
Barcrest Group and Games Media are also announcing an agreement under which Games Media will develop reel-based products on the Horizon cabinet and MPU5 technology, to be manufactured at the Barcrest Group factory in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Andrew Ludlow, CEO of Games Media, commented, “These agreements are an important part of our strategy to deliver the best possible content and solutions to our partners. The UK market is facing some very real challenges and we believe the collaborative approach of this relationship and its specific agreements send a very clear signal of our commitment to the future of those sectors in which we are engaged.”
