The company was founded in 1982 and supplies digital video content to jukeboxes sited in bars, pubs and clubs. E.O.D. started to sell Sound Leisure’s range of digital jukebox products last year and has enjoyed strong sales of both wall and floor models. In particular the classic lines of Sound Leisure’s hand-crafted Nostalgia range caught the eyes of the Spanish customers and following significant orders of the Nostalgia Digital, which was launched last year, a new slimmer version was unveiled at this year’s show. The Melody is based on Sound Leisure’s most popular CD Nostalgia model, and is smaller in size. It has had approx. 30 cm taken off the back cabinet but visually still has the same impact on site as the full-size Nostalgia.

“No matter what age you are, the classic lines of these machines still shout out “Jukebox” like no other design,” says Sound Leisure Managing Director Chris Black. “Such was the impact at the show that we had orders for 10 machines confirmed in the first hour. In fact, the reaction to the machine through out the show was superb with many more orders placed. There is not another machine on the market that has the impact of a Nostalgia Jukebox, people are naturally drawn to them and it seems from this weeks show that the Nostalgia box is going to fit in extremely well in Spain’s top locations,” he added. “The Spanish market is very exciting for us and we are thrilled to be working closely with Javier and the team at E.O.D. Their market knowledge of the jukebox sector over here is second to none,” said Simon Davis, Director of Soundnet.
