Today wh Münzprüfer provides a one-stop solution for coin validation, change giving, and for the interfacing with pc based systems and touch screen technology. The Berlin-based manufacturer produces five different selectors of which the best-known in the gaming market is the 3.5-inch EMP800 series. This has a variety of mechanical versions with different front plates and frame mounting possibilities. There are 11 different electronic interfaces available. With more than 85 already available data files from countries all over the world wh Münzprüfer Berlin GmbH is in the position of offering their customers coin selectors matching even exotic requirements. It can be supplemented by 2 or 3-way sorters or be equipped with battery power for use in a pool table.

Beginning of this year a new coin selector generation of the EMP 800 v6 series was introduced. The centrepiece of these units consists of a 40 MHz super fast, low voltage micro processor (3.3 Volt). Due to the faster processing speed a considerable higher efficiency of coin recognition rules can be achieved, thus enabling an even better coin separation. With reduced power consumption and the consequential heat build up all coin selectors of the EMP 800 v6 series can be operated between 10 v to 26 v DC. Remote programming via ccTalk is available upon request.

The introduction of the new micro processor technology also offers new possibilities when servicing the selectors, with significant time saving for read-out, cloning and programming of selectors.

For an optimum communication between host machine and peripherical devices serial interfaces became the number 1 choice for most of the manufacturers. Using a wh Münzprüfer coin selector you can choose between mdb, ccTalk or USB interface. 

These coin selectors can be directly connected to a PC. The current consumption has been optimised to facilitate the power supply of the selector via the USB-Bus.

With the new interface board CCT 900 a universal platform for all Kiosks and PC based amusement machines is available. Beginning with version 1.03, ccTALK and also MDB protocol is supported. The Class Library for easy implementation of the single components and the example programming have been extended. A C++ example programming has been added. The CCT 900 connects all payment devices easily to any PC application. Coin selectors, sorters, bill validators, hoppers, counting scales, anti pin systems, escrows, coin feeders and even change givers can be easily integrated into any PC based machines.

Also the hopper range, which includes the Standard and Mini-Hopper is available with parallel, ccTalk or USB interface and the small hopper also in MDB version. All hoppers are available in 12 or 24 volts and offer the special TWIN CONNECTION feature.

The small hopper can be combined with the newly developed counting scale also available with MDB or ccTalk interface. The mini-hopper is connected via the serial interface of the counting scale to the machine. No additional plug-in connectors are necessary. This allows a complete monitoring of the content of the hopper. The number of coins in the hopper can be retrieved via the interface at any time.

Flexibility is the keyword for the range built in such a way that add-ons can tailor the unit to fit specific purposes, but always with security as the highest priority.

The range also includes a five-inch selector, the 900 Series which goes mainly into the AWP industry. The EMP 900 comes with an integrated sorting device.

Tradition can only live in combination with innovation. In a market with rapid changes all components must always be up to date or even better ahead of time.
