ARDAC ELITE, Money Controls' revolutionary bill acceptor, sets new standards for performance, reliability and user-friendliness. Originally designed to meet the exacting demands of the casino market, Ardac Elite is proving increasingly popular with manufacturers and operators in the amusement sector. And it's easy to see why: it consistently delivers over 97% first-time acceptance of street-grade bills; it has the highest level of fraud detection; and, with minimal or no maintenance required, it gives maximum in-service availability.
The exceptional acceptance rate is good news for operators, as it translates into increased revenue; it's also good news for players, as is the ease of insertion, with no need to align, centre or even straighten notes.
What sets Ardac Elite apart from other acceptors is its imaging technology: uniquely, it scans 100% of both faces of a note using six different wavelengths. The scanning provides 200,000 data points for high-speed analysis, which explains Ardac Elite's performance. Ardac Elite's imaging technology also enables it to provide unique benefits to operators, such as the display on a PDA of a full-colour image of the last note inserted. Now, disputes can be resolved in seconds, with no need to access the cashbox: all an attendant need do is connect a PDA to the USB socket on the front of the Ardac Elite for instant proof of what note was inserted last.
It's also proving to be the ideal acceptor in server-based applications, partly due to its imaging and data processing techniques, but also thanks to its remote download capabilities which enable firmware and note tables to be updated from a central server. Money Controls has over last forty years' experience and expertise in designing and developing money-handling equipment and has gained an enviable reputation for innovation. This innovation began with the Universal Hopper - the latest version of which is still the world leader - and continues today, not just with Ardac Elite, but with other products such as PayLink, Money Controls' USB integration module.
PayLink enables developers to integrate a variety of payment peripherals into the software for new games without having to create bespoke payment software - dramatically reducing the time-to-market for PC-based machines, lowering costs and enabling trouble-free peripheral upgrades. Supporting ccTalk, ID003, RS232 and MDB protocols, PayLink allows the integration of a number of payment peripherals, such as coin acceptors, bill acceptors and hoppers, as well as simple and fast connection of other units such as buttons and switches, status LEDs, lamp drivers and serial meters.
