FOR ALMOST 20 years, Cummins Allison has remained leading manufacturer and supplier of cash-handling solutions to the coin-op industry. The introduction of its Jetsort coin-sorter revolutionised the coin processing of numerous arcades - fast, accurate, and extremely user-friendly, it has become the industry standard when it comes to sorting and counting coin.
The Universal 2-Pocket Jetscan is achieving similar popularity amongst arcade operators. By using the latest in note pattern recognition, it processes mixed denominational bundles of notes, placing those that are rejected into a separate pocket without interrupting the count.
In addition, once a total has been verified, the notes can then be sorted and batched into their individual denominations ready for banking or re-cycling within the arcade (with the option of facing and orienting should that be required).
Due to the significant way with which the Jetscan technology identifies each note by its pattern and through working closely with the financial sector, Cummins continue to develop their Jetscan product range to ensure that the levels of counterfeit detection meet the high standards required.
"Since its introduction, the Jetscan has significantly enhanced the cash-processing of notes for numerous arcades by providing the same speed, accuracy and reliability of the Jetsort that operators have become used to" says Managing Director, Terry Lambert.
