Hyperlink is the Acumulado (progressive jackpot) system for arcades designed by IPS (Informatica Programas Serveis). It has the largest number of interconnected machines in the country, with more than 700 units spread over more than 90 arcades. It seems like only yesterday and yet a year has already passed since the Adeslink company took the decision to launch the Primer Acumulado in the arcades in Spain. At that time this was a bold gamble for a gaming system that had never been tried before in our country.
Since then there have been twelve months of intense work, during which the Adeslink company has performed the role of host magnificently and on the technological side, IPS has played the role of 'father' of the system perfectly. Last Monday, May 12th, the prize was presented in the Sala Bosque in Cadiz which amounted to 1,000,000 euros. Since the launch of the Adeslink Hyperlink on May 22nd 2007, the system and everything associated with it has been synonymous with success and good practices.
The AGEO association organised a meeting in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, solely to find out about the Acumulado in the Hyperlink arcades. The broad representation of managers attending from within the Region, found a scenario organised expressly to explain how the system works. The experience gained by IPS in Andalucia could be seen on a plasma screen that followed in real time the progress of the two Acumulado prizes in the various arcades in Andalucia.
