Soundnet and Sound Leisure are reporting a good response to their attendance of the second Forum de l'Automatique, which took place at Espace Charenton, Paris in April
This year the companies showed an all-French audio/video digital unit on the stand of distributor Societe Francaise Automatique (SFA). This option is available alongside the digital audio jukebox, which was released for France last year. A variety of cabinet designs and some retro CD jukeboxes were also displayed on the stand.
SFA's Armand Bendahan and Alain Cugnod showed operators the specialist French content, tailor made for the French market by a team of local music experts. The programme is supplied exclusively by Soundnet in order to suit the many cultures represented in France's diverse bars and clubs. Soundnet also unveiled several new music packages to old and new customers at the show.
"The show was perhaps a bit smaller this year but it was definitely busier," said Soundnet's James Luck. "It has proved to be a really effective way of showing our product to a large number of French operators. The atmosphere was great."
"We are really pleased to be working with such a positive distributor," added Lucas Fox, also from Soundnet. "Armand and the team at SFA know the market inside out and are getting the message out that we are the only supplier with a jukebox that has been specifically designed for the French market, by working side by side with our French customers."
