The Austrian online bookmaker Bet-at-home has become the first company from the gaming sector to be quoted on the Polish stock exchange. Bet-at-home is one of several online betting sites serving Poland and has around 400,000 customers signed up. This is around 40 per cent of its overall player base - making Poland its single most important market.
Philips introduced a 22-inch 3D Display that provides an exciting, entertaining and engaging 3D experience, at InfoComm 2008 last month. The 22-inch 3D display, available as frame-mount and desktop, is ideal for use in digital signage for retail, point-of-sale advertising, gaming applications in casinos, games and 3D visualization. Thanks to the WOWvx technology used in Philips 3D Displays, no special viewing glasses are needed.

Following the launch of Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Theme Park in the UK at the start of the 2008 season, the hugely popular new area has been given an added boost with the arrival of another passenger train from the Thomas and Friends series, Percy. His arrival will help take some of the "strain" off Thomas who has been working flat out since the beginning of the season taking passengers on a journey from Thomas Land to the Farmer McColl's Farm area of the park.
